MONDAY 14TH NOVEMBER

His face is so beautiful.  Big brown eyes looked back at me, lovingly, wantonly.  Oh my, it is large and slimy looking.  I’ve seen something similar before, was it in a shower may be?  It’s huge with sort of knobbles on it, goodness me! I should have brought my gloves. But he really wants me to, so I must.  I look about furtively, somebody might see me.  That’s the trouble in the park - all sorts are out there.  Wow it’s such a whopper, how do I . . . what am I supposed to do with it.  I don’t really want to touch it, it’s so big.  I look back at his face, his head tilted to one side quizzically as if to say, “go on, you know what to do.  You know you want to.”  Who would have thought it, such a little dog with an enormous stick just waiting to “fetch”?

  1. God, is it really only MMonday?......I drove to 3 swimming pools this morning, taking an hour and a half, in order to keep my promise of me and my toddler going swimming on Monday. - Could have got to Chessington in that time, marsh farm quicker and with far less frustration. Winging it, on our very last nappy too, I was brought to tears as pool after pool told me, its lessons only, or aqua bollocks. So we returned to the original place, where I hadn't been able to park earlier, got costumed up, swam a little, had fun, only for Emily to announce, shower, milk after 45 minutes! - We were in for only half the time it took to get there! A coffee beforer the desperate nappy purchase, and somehow it was evening. Hopefully I'll wind down soon. This just reminds me that I should have stuck to a good old fashoned dog walk, and the pleasure 4 paws guarentee!
